T-FAL ACTIFRY – A WONDER TO FRY WITH.

I am a ‘rolly polly’ type with a lazy, sedentary lifestyle.  With a rapidly expanding girth, thanks to my love of fried foods, I was heading for disaster.  My family Doctor was not too surprised to see me walk in with a litany of complaints.  Knowing me from childhood, he was familiar with my history.  After reading the riot act to me, he put me on a diet. No fried stuff, no this, no that etc.  I wanted to scream as the simple joys of life went out of the window.  He casually suggested that I try the T-Fal Actifry. I had never heard of it.  It was then that I came to know from him that it is a frying machine which uses almost no oil for frying. I located a store selling T-Fal Actifry and purchased one for about $250.  If it could reduce my weight yet at the same time let me indulge in my favorite fries, it was worth a go.  This was a decision which changed my life and looking back I can thank my lucky stars that I stumbled upon this great product.

I took my purchase home, opened and read the instructions.  It was very easy to understand as it was lucidly explained.  The T-Fal Actifry was basically a frying pan, but with a unique design.  It had a removable ceramic coated non-stick pan and the coating was free of PTFE and PFOA.  It had a transparent lid, so designed, that it was steam free, allowing you to see the food at every stage of cooking.  It had a pulse heat system with the food being stirred by a paddle. No pre-heating was required.  You had to use only a little oil to make a pan full of French fries, about 2 lbs.  I had to measure only a little oil, with the included measuring spoon, as this system is so stingy with oil usage. This was too good to be true and I waited with bated breath to see the outcome.  I was not disappointed at all.

When the countdown timer announced the cooking time to be over, there it was – beautiful golden, mouthwatering, French fries delivered by the T-Fal Actifry.  Since the oil used was so little, there was no sputtering and I did not have to any leftover oil to store.  There was no characteristic frying smell as the T-Fal Actifry has a filter to prevent any odors filling your kitchen.  Since the pan, lid and paddle was dishwasher safe, even the clean up process was effortless.  It weighs less than 9 lbs and uses only 1450 watts and comes with a one year warranty, a midget with the attributes of a Goliath. In a short span of time this trusty little gizmo has been my lifeline.  I do almost all my cooking using the T-Fal Actifry.

My weight dropped due to the healthier food I was eating and my Doctor was pleased.  I plan to gift a T-Fal Actifry to my mum.  I am one hundred per cent certain she will be more than happy after she tries it out. You too should try T-Fal Actifry, it is good value for money.
